Sparklo Joins the Business Coalition for a Global Plastics Treaty

Sparklo has officially joined the Business Coalition for a Global Plastics Treaty, a global initiative bringing together more than 330 businesses, financial institutions, and non-governmental organisations supporting the development of a legally binding UN treaty to end plastic pollution.

Convened by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and WWF, the coalition works to advance global solutions that help reduce plastic pollution, keep valuable materials in circulation, and accelerate the transition towards a circular economy.

For Sparklo, joining the coalition is an important step in our mission to make recycling more accessible, rewarding, and part of everyday life. While technology and recycling infrastructure alone cannot solve plastic pollution, they play an important role in enabling the behavioural change and material recovery needed for a more circular future.

We are proud to join a coalition that includes organisations such as PepsiCo, Nestlé, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), Unilever, L’Oreal, Walmart, and many others committed to building a future free from plastic pollution.

As discussions around the Global Plastics Treaty continue, we look forward to supporting this important initiative and contributing to the collective effort to build a more circular future.
